Hash Brown Casserole

Serves 10 – 12            Cooking Time 1 hour and 15 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 30 oz. package of frozen hash browns, thawed
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 tsp. sea salt
  • 1 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp  lemon zest
  • 1 can of cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup of  shredded cheddar cheese
  • 4 to 5 tbsp  of half and half
  • 1/2 cup of butter, melted
  • 1 cup of crushed cornflakes

Directions:

Mix all ingredients (except cornflakes)  together in a large bowl and pour into a 9 x 13 pan.

Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour and 15 minutes.

After baking, remove from oven and sprinkle the crushed corn flakes over the cooked casserole, then serve.
